Once upon a time, Grandpa Anastopoulos, a famous shoe-maker of his time, decided to teach his son Theodoros the fine art of shoe design and manufacturing. In 1964, Theodoros founded ARIANA, a company known for making elegant women's shoes and leather items. He and his company became the symbol of quality in women's shoes and accessories. In 1999, Theodoros' two daughters literally stepped into ...their father's shoes and transformed ARIANA into their own company, Sorelle. "Sorelle" means sisters in Italian. The sisters, Aritsa and Valia Anastopoulos, have carried on a half-century family tradition and achieved in bringing a third generation shoe making company into today's high fashion marketplace, continuing the business of creating beautifully designed, high quality, hand made shoes and accessories. Sorelle specializes in high end, fashion footwear and accessories. We create unique hand made products, by combining fine leathers, Swarovski crystals and metal work to create product lines that are exciting and unique. All products are handmade in our factory in Athens, Greece. Aritsa and Valia create their lines by closely monitoring women’s fashion trends and taking part in trade shows and events globally. They use 100% pure leather for both upper linings and soles meaning, that by buying a Sorelle shoe, you can be assured of not only a beautifully styled product but also the utmost in comfort and durability.
